3 days, 3 shoots in Stafford

Multiple Stafford Photoshoots:
These photos were shot over 3 different days, all in Stafford!
For these shoots I wanted to get a grasp of Stafford and the memories it contains during a brighter time of day, encapsulating a more positive outlook on the area, prompting positive thoughts and happiness.
Photos that I feel were the most impactful:
Taken on 17/12/23
The images containing the mannequins are the most captivating here in my opinion, as we are able to view what they are facing, yet they are stuck behind the invisible walls, as if to say they are confined from entering the many closed buildings of Stafford, just like the general public.
Taken on 26/01/24
The lock represents the declining state off Stafford and the memories it has locked away behind derelict doors of old businesses that used to exist, but are now a distant memory that people struggle to remember.
The image of the lamppost with only one working bulb shows the past and present of my memories of Stafford, with the left typically being where you start writing on a page in English literature, signifying the earlier stages of Stafford, in which it was thriving and open all around. On the other hand, the bulb that no longer works on the right, being the current time and the right side of the page, shows a damaged town that no longer functions like it used to.
